Dublin, Ireland June 13 - 21st Always the Bridesmaid, Never the Bride - this is the rousing theme of the Dublin Pride Festival '08, which begins on Friday June 13 and comes to its climax on Saturday June 21st. With its famous explosion of colour transforming the streets of Dublin, this year's festival will be celebrating the city's 25th Pride Parade while highlighting the desire for further recognition regarding LGBTQ partnership rights.
London, UK June 13th - 28th Pride London operates a two week arts festival with a packed line-up of the most innovative artists, performers and public figures culminating in Parade Day on Saturday July 5th. Over the two weeks, you can listen to poetry, watch theatre and discuss the issues affecting us now with well-respected speakers, politicians, and LGBT figures. Plus, London has a great gay scene - voted one of the hottest!
Berlin, Germany June 14th - 29th Berlin is without a doubt one of the most liberal and progressive major metropolitan cities in Europe. Not surprising, that progressive mindedness bodes well for its huge gay population. Not afraid to explore boundaries has made Berlin one of the hottest, most sexually open cities in Europe.
Mexico City June 26 - 30th Well over a million people come out in support of Mexico City's Pride festival. Mexico's high altitude capital has a huge and active gay population although generally the gay population is a bit more discreet and underground than most North American metropolises.
Madrid, Spain June 28th - 29th Not only a hot destination, the capital of Spain is hosting their parade at the end of June. While their, sample the guys and the tapas...and who knows, if you fall in love, you may just wanna tie the knot! Spain permits gays to marry!
Paris, France June 28th - 29th The romantic and enchanting city of Paris celebrates Gay Pride at the end of June. Expect a massive turn-out of more than 500,000 spectators and participants. The city hosts many balls, parties, and other events all month leading to the parade - its culmination.
Zagreb, Croatia June 25th - 28th If you haven't heard, the East is where it's at. All the eastern European hotties gather for Zagreb Pride where this year's theme is "You Have the Courage." The Pride march and a concert will be on Sunday June 28th.
Toronto, Canada June 20th - 29th Our hot neighbors to the north host their Pride events beginning the second week and June. Sandra Bernhard is in town to shake things up and performs June 22nd at Massey Hall with proceeds going toward Pride 2008.
